It's a little far back, but unfortunately from what I can tell some of the more recent games of survivor are just not public? Or if they are I can't seem to find a link to the forum where they actually took place.

Okay. So mostly so far I've been chatting with Jotunn, nothing super serious but things seem alright. On the Titans front I've basically received nothing except Cerebus, sent a few messages out but not to all of them so far. This might just be a recency thing, but I guess my impression so far is that it seems like as a tribe the Titans are a lot less sociable than Jotunn or a few people in Hitorigami are. (When I say "less sociable" I also mean "less likely to win, in my estimation".)
I hope that this represents a good thing for my chances?

I suppose I should talk about my chances. Left in the Hitorigami tribe is Eloritu, Bilious, Papatu, Chaos, Fili & Kili, and, of course, me. It certainly seems like from round 1 that Chaos is on the chopping block before I am, but I think that after that it's a pretty decent chance that it'd be my neck on the line. Papa (or "Poppy", as everyone in Jotunn who PMs me seems to know her) seems to be ingratiating herself well with others (and did the same with me, I suppose), so by my estimation she's probably the strongest player / most likely to win in our tribe.

Why must my team do this to me. Like I know that I didn't even do all that well but my gosh at least I solved it without errors, and under an hour.

WHAT IS YOUR PLAN HERE, KITSUNE? HOW DOES NOT BEING ABLE TO DIRECTLY CONVERSE WITH YOUR TRIBEMATES AFFECT YOUR APPROACH TO THIS TRIBAL?

My plan it to try to take the pre-existing support for Chaos' elimination and just work with that. No sense in trying to create something else from nothing, and besides everyone else would be a much harder sell in the first place -- if anything, I would be the one up next if not Chaos. As far as I can tell, at least.
Not being able to directly communicate complicates things, but in a way it also simplifies them. I don't think anyone is going to want this to be too hard, so I imagine that they will just take the path of least resistance and go for Chaos here. That might be wishful thinking, but I think that it basically makes sense.

Of course, one effect of the non-direct communication is that if I'm being frozen out of conversations, it'll probably be a lot less noticeable. If you're messaging people on your tribe like normal and getting nothing back it's probably a pretty worrying sign, but in this sort of case the friction of the intermediary can act as sort of plausible deniability such that it's harder to know if someone doesn't want to talk to you or what. That's what I imagine, anyways.

By the way, do any of you spectators want to play that challenge 1 game with me? I'll start a new thread for it.

I feel as though I'm falling victim to unknown unknowns in this game. Or, in other words, there are things that I'm missing out on that I don't even known I'm missing out on. For instance, my impression so far has mainly been that you PM people basically just to schmooze and try to become friends, maybe by talking about your interests or something. However, one thing that I think is sort of a hot-button topic typically which I have yet to have any real conversation on is "alliances". So far I have had no discussion regarding this. Also, in general, outside of the first tribal council I have talked little about voting, who I like the most / least, who I want to keep around, and other things of the sort. I am unaware of how frequently these things typically come up, but a recent message from Chaos (as relayed through Hermes) makes me think that it's possible I've been giving the sort of impression that I don't care about them, or that I would rather talk about other stuff.
He said that he'd like to apologize for not strategizing much with me, he got the impression that I would rather talk about other things.
It's not so much that I would rather not talk about the game (I'd might even be more comfortable with that sort of discussion), it's just that it's sort of an unknown unknown for me, so I deferred to just random conversation topics. So far nobody has really brought up any more series topics to me unprompted. I think that this indicates one of a few things: 1. Chaos' impression is the widespread one, and people assume that I'm not interested in "game talk".
2. I was correct in my initial impression and "game talk" isn't actually all that common, at least this early on. 3. It's not that people think I'm not interested in "game talk", they actively do not want to include me in game talk.
I don't think any of this bodes well.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT THIS SITUATION?

Not sure. Honestly, I think I'd feel just plain awkward asking someone for an "alliance". What am I, NATO? So probably I'll just continue to try to talk in the same manner that I have before, but also maybe try to incorporate some more "game talk" into the conversations, just in case people had the same impression that Chaos did.

I feel like I've been mostly frozen out from conversations, as I talked about a few posts ago. So I think there's a decent chance that this is my time.
