Hello, Bacchus! I will answer your most... eloquent... questions briefly, and then I'll expound upon other things in my THOUGHTS update.
1. It went really well. Having high activity really pays off, doesn't it?
2. I absolutely did!!! Eloritu hasn't messaged me back since I told them I'd be happy to start an alliance, but that's okay. I knew they were going to be away for a little bit. But they're my favorite tribemate! And no, no enemies.
3. Fili and Kili!!! Like both of them. At the same time. I think that would be hilarious. They've got a sibling rivalry thing going on, and that could lead to a whole bunch of shenanigans.
4. I think they're awesome. And sure, it'll make things messy, but... isn't that the point? You guys are all about chaos this game, aren't you? Chaotic fun to be exact. Yeah, that's right, I see you. And I applaud you. It's only the second day, and I'm having a blast.

! ! ! ! DOUBLE NEWSFLASH ! ! ! !
Artio has been replaced by Bilious!This was quite the surprise because I missed the announcement (I was so busy refreshing the Challenge page to see if Viy and Artemis were gonna show up or not that I didn't really look elsewhere for a couple hours). So I first found out about it when Bilious messaged me. I put two and two together, though, before I read the full PM. With this much time gone, I figured Artio was sadly not going to show up. I hope they're doing alright, wherever they are. Poppy has been given half of a ring!
(AKA: New thread, who dis?)I am so honored that Cerberus chose me! And... also super proud of myself. A day and a half in, and I've already made some great connections with people, both in and outside of my tribe. That's a win in my book. I can't wait to see what blossoms. (And like Happy Head said, the idol isn't the important part.) (Okay, the idol is absolutely super freaking amazing, and I'm excited to have it, or at least the chance to have it. But..... friends!)   You know what this means???

THOUGHTS AT SECOND DAY'S CLOSE . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . SECRET ALMOST TRIBEMATE * Cerberus * I'm counting it! Bestest hell puppy, you got yourself promoted! I've got, like, my own secret club now. I mean, I told Eloritu right away that Cerberus had the ring (so they could stop suspecting Kitsune and talking to other tribemates about it) and that it meant Cerberus could choose a person from another tribe, and the person they chose is me. I didn't see anything in the rules against that, so... *crossing fingers I didn't do anything wrong* But anyway, nobody else knows that I have this new friend! And I like secret club things. I really do like Cerberus so far. The three-headed split personality thing is excellent. *blissful sigh* I'm just pleased as punch to have been chosen by them. It's like a pat on the back or a squishy hug to let me know I'm doing a good job. I've made it this far. And with the extra bonus of that idol at merge, I am most DEFINITELY making it there. |

He's easy to talk to, and he definitely made an effort to reach out to everyone ASAP. I like his hungover haziness. It makes for a lot of good jokes and a memorable persona. HOnestly, that's one of the best parts about this game so far. Other than the tremendous amount of creative, well-thought-out, complex events and rewards (and the sheer plethora of things for me to nerd out about), people are playing their character's legendary personalities hardcore. It's entertaining.
And I won points with Bil for giving him a rundown of everything that's happening with our tribe. Yay me.

Apparently the secret was to talk about music with them. They opened up like a moonflower!

CHALLENGE GROUPIES

They were quite modest and respectful during the challenge. I feel bad for venting about them not showing up yesterday since it was a work-thing. They were exactly on time today, and that show of dedication means a lot.
I really liked playing with them. They did A LOT on the spreadsheet to make the game easier. Thanks, Art! Or Missy... Or Misty... You didn't tell me what to call you. Oh, I'm sure we'll get there.
* Viy *
They also had their share of lateness yesterday, but they were exactly on time today, too. We were all dedicated and respectful of each other's needs. It was great. Viy was very quick to figure out errors and make sure we did everything correctly. I think they understood the game the best.

THE CHALLENGE ITSELF
All in all, it was fun, and I think I can confidently say that it is not one I'm going to master any time soon. I got confused on just about all of the rules at least once, I panicked every time I had to "math" (that's not the game's fault; I just have a crappy history with math), I made quite a few mistakes, and I wished I had made some different moves than I did, and I was disappointed that I didn't score as high as the other two. So it was a bit... stressful at times. But I'd be happy to play it again so I could get better at it. And so I could kick someone's butt!!!

1. I used the time to chat with people.
2. I thought the challenge was complicated but fun. I’d play it again.
3. Honestly, at this point, I think we’re just going to vote out the person we don’t all connect with. The funny thing is, we don’t all agree on who that is. That’s a bit of a surprise to me.
4. I haven’t talked to anyone about that yet. I was pretty happy with how well I did once I got a hang of things. Didn’t win me anything, but whatever. I’ll take the small victory of self improvement.

Some tribemates (maybe it was Chaos?) seem to be having trouble connecting with him. I was surprised because I like him. There are longer breaks in between his messages, yes, but at least they have *substance*. He makes me laugh. And he likes me, so that’s good. Maybe he’s a potential future-ally.

So they’re another busy, less-talkative person, and when I do hear from them, it’s… okay. I don’t know. We’re allies now, so that’s… interesting. This morning, they were my second choice to eliminate. But they offered an alliance so they can figure out who NOT to eliminate, sooooo how could I say no?
