TRTWIUAA kept changing how the challenges were getting scored, fairly sure they did literally everything possible. (Although I believe the line was drawn at standard deviation).
I think this is why even Australian survivor, which only had half of each tribe actually compete in the reward challenge (episode 2), still asked the tribe with people to sit someone out.
Or they just made it known how they were going to edit the challenge so that the events could continue to happen in the manner they did.

I don't think it would have made any difference here, since the problem was with the smaller tribe having someone go the two hours. Because really challenge 2 here probably had it end up closer with my father time and being in the smaller tribe. No comment about challenge 5, add that was complete failure from everyone.
So I guess nothing actually needs changed, but when you get that one big outlier, it just makes the whole thing look bad.
If I was still in the game, (and knowing people would have thrown to get rid of me for some reason after my unsuccessful idol play) I'd be believing Poppy threw that.

Also Jael & Athena never attending a premerge tribal!
Poppy attending all but one though, that's the statistic we get here.

That is an aspect I didn't even consider. I mean the real answer is have fewer challenges that depend on "how fast can you puzzle". Which we did try to cut down on those in this premerge. Which if you haven't guessed from the numbers and purgatory, means that merge is next round. Interested in the dynamics of Vanara right now as it will likely come down to smart item play and social positioning here. Oh god will Hermes be back from his VLA in time?

So they travel on the 22nd and the 26th, at worst they might need a sub for the second challenge of the merge but should be mostly fine for the first.

AT A CERTAIN POINT IT FEELS LIKE WE'RE JUST TESTING THE SAME SKILL OVER AND OVER AGAIN. I FEEL FOR POPPY. I WAS ROOTING FOR HER TRIBE TO WIN, ALTHOUGH AT THIS POINT IT ALMOST FEELS LIKE A WASTE THAT SHE WON THAT SINGLE CHALLENGE AND DIDN'T TRULY DENISE STAPLEY THE PREMERGE.

I am sorry for my part in allowing victory that once.

I do understand this complaint (since games I've modded previously have contributed to this perception), but I would provide some pushback on it. The last few games, including this one, have done a better job in this. This game, for example, had 3/11 premerge challenges that were wholly asynchronous puzzles, then one other challenge that featured puzzles as an option you could complete as a tribe member. I also feel like Vash did a great job on those particular challenges of either doing wholly different challenges to the site or presenting them in a different way. LSG culture on the site may have some issues, but challenge variety/innovation isn't consistently one of them, from my perspective, just looking at the last few games.

Sigh, if Viy just tells Hades he's using a steal-a-vote then...Viy lives, right?
