Assuming you go to TC right now, who are you voting out and why? Who are you not willing to vote out, and why?

Phobos & Deimos. Unless my group of allies/prospective allies (Artemis, Cerberus, Hades, Persephone) expresses a particular attachment to them and would prefer Kronos. But I have a feeling everyone in my tribe is feeling very similar about the dynamics and have been able to connect with Phobos & Deimos the least. Kronos probably goes next but we're trying to give him chances to change that.
I'm not will to vote out any of the four I mentioned. We've all expressed at least tertiary like of each other at this point and we'd like to stick together for as long as possible.

you're totally right! i've not watched vox machina, but am currently making my way through the mighty nein. i want to keep up with the third campaign when that starts. I started with (and finished) Vox Machina but I haven't gotten through mighty nein yet, so kinda in a reverse situation. Can't wait to start fresh with C3 though. Have you heard about the Exandria Unlimited thing happening over the summer? oh hey. it looks like the first episode of this is starting

Welacome to the dfirst episode of… Puob Trivsia Wityh Bacchus Where i acsk you qustsoeni and yozu nswaer them. Chere wpe go! 1: Ho'wd yoru first nighht dna first full dya of the game treat lyou? 2: Make anny friends so fark? Maek aniy enemies? 3: Who oin your rtribe do yoyu thinxk would bue the ffunnset druk?n 4: Pany thoughtos about the Divine Intberventions yet? 1. My first night was good in that I got a healthy conversation going with the members that I am now closest with. While I ended up getting a late start that night, I don't think it impacted my standing too much, as the next day my conversations really flourished based on what I started the previous night. Most people had already messaged me when I logged on, but I had to take the initiative with a couple players, Persephone and the hydra I believe. Over the next day, Cerberus and Hades were my most consistently engaging conversations, with Persephone and Hades not far behind. I ended up sending frequent PMs with Kronos, but our conversation never went as in depth (either about the game or about non-game related activities) as my other relationships did. Even now, I'm attempting to ask him about opinions on our tribe, and he just says he's focusing on the challenge and hopes to avoid a TC. Which... well, great. That's great. Of course. It's a bit of a non-answer? Because everyone is going to say thatejajsdfiusjhfsdhfdsfjdk. It's fine. It seems he has given that same answer to Hades as well, so like... I tried? The hydra has been fun to talk to, but... very infrequent in their postings and I'm not sure I have a good bead on their thoughts on the game. I was worried my challenge wouldn't get done in time due to needing a replacement, but once we got the replacement in we were able to start the next day. I think I through myself into the challenge too readily, and went for speed due to anxieties about the other players' time and the deadline when I didn't have to. That is, I could have afforded to slow down and work out my strategy a little more. In the end, I didn't score especially low, I don't think, but I could have won it if I had worried less and focused just a little more. I think that's a lesson I will be taking forward, there are a certain number of things I can't really afford to be anxious about. Overall, though, the challenge went well. Jesus and Bilious are both cool. I'm also enjoying getting a general sense of other tribes from the general thread. Hopefully, by posting there somewhat frequently, when I start interacting with other tribes, people will be more receptive due to recognizing my name and hopefully enjoying my posts. 2. Hades just recently said this: "btw i forgot to say this yesterday since everything has been so hectic but i just wanted to say that i absolutely love working with you and even just talking about anything. i'm so glad to have met you in this game and you are definitely my #1! i think we are in really good shape here and set up well for tribe swaps. we have a strong 4 and i think i am a pretty decent point now with artemis as well. im thinking the first tribe swap is likely to happen after the 2nd TC so i'm a little anxious about it but hopefully we will be ok" which was very nice to recieve. I suppose he wants me as his #1 ally. Granted, he could also be saying this to Cerberus or even Persephone as well, but I kinda doubt it. He wants me as his #1, which is good, because it means I'm not on the edges of our group. Over all, I feel Hades has been one of the strongest members of our tribe if not the strongest, so I'm glad he feels similarly about me. However, I would like to keep Cerberus, Persephone, and Artemis all as friends going forward, or at least as much as possible. I don't know if Jesus considers me a friend, but I quite like him and hope I get more chances to talk to him this game. 3. I think underneath Persephone's cute and effortlessly charming exterior, she is a wild partier. Getting drunk with her would lead to fun adventures I think. Also, I'm interested in what Cerberus would be like, if only to see how his different heads are affected. 4. The Divine Interventions range from scary to "eh." I'll post more extensive thoughts when they occur and also if I get the chance to influence one of them via the challenge, but safe to say I want to maximize by ability to increase my range of socialization while not separating too much from all of the friends I have made thus far.

It seems everyone and their mother is bringing up that hidden endurance idol that I tried for up now.
Assuming everyone is telling the truth, none of: Athena Hades Jael Elloritu Jesus Belious
have possession of the idol.
Hades tells me that Elloritu speculates that one of Maat/Hathor, Loki, Kitsune, or Cerberus might have posession of it. Maybe the hydra since they'd have an easier time posting?
Also, given that Jesus and Bilious have been fairly friendly and seemed open to working together, I just sent this to Hades:
"Speaking of the "too-talkative tribe" Jesus just revealed to Bilious and I in our challenge group that he knew about the Idol and attempted to get it the night the game started, but also failed. Bilious confirmed he was currently trying to, but gave up when he found that out. So that strikes off too potential suspects.
I would trust your gun-to-head answer. At least for the time being, if someone doesn't already know about the existence of the idol it doesn't serve too much purpose to speculate about it with our tribe. I doubt it is relevant yet anyways, given the flavor text that it's supposed to grow and become more powerful, so I'm fine with just tabling it for now.
The sudden chattiness of my group gave me an idea I wanted to share with you. While we obviously have been fairly tightlipped about our tribes, both Jesus and Bilious have been fairly open to working together in some ways and both have seemed friendly and willing to talk about the game. It's possible they both are on the lookout for allies outside their tribe.
The reason I say this is because in the unfortunate event that we end up very separated, e.g: you find yourself only able to communicate to say... the hydra and Kronos from our tribe, you might be able to find some easier allies by reaching out to either of them and just saying like "hey I'm close to Athena and she said you were pretty level headed/chill." It gives you an easier in to potentially some more allies in the unfortunate event we end up super isolated. I'm not sure I expect anything SUPER crazy to happen for a bit, but I'm trying to cover all our bases.
Anyway, I don't know what you think about that. I don't know them super well or anything but I think they like me so I'd say it's probably a better plan to have in your back pocket than nothing."

I'm doing this because in the event we get separated, they might ally as a result of me and the more allies I can create and the more people in general I can get saying my name across tribes the less likely people are to want to vote me out, at least if stay likable to people, and don't make people afraid of me.

I'm not telling anyone but Hades this yet, as Hades remains my #1 ally.

Heck yeah!
Still not entirely sure what to do with the token, but I'll discuss it with the allies in my tribe.
I'm psyched that the strategy discussed amongst my group of trying to get the most points possible actually worked out though.

1. Sometimes, like a ship lodged in the Suez Canal, you can feel like the game has come to a standstill. How have you used the extra time afforded to you by the challenge extension? 2. The Panama Canal was completed in 1914, a technological marvel at the time. How did you enjoy the challenge, which has been described as a modern day technological marvel? 3. The Grand Canal is one of the world's oldest manmade waterways. However, when thinking about history, it's usually helpful to think about the future. How do you plan to navigate your tribe (and the game) in the future? 4. The Corinth Canal is the deepest canal in the world. How deep have your conversations about items in the game? Is there speculation, for example, about who might have done well on the Idol Challenge? Are there any other idols in the game?

Awww, thanks Mielikki! Blah, I've come down with a slight fever and headache over the last 24 hours. I'm fully vaccinated so it's hopefully nothing serious, but it has still sapped me of energy and derailed this week. Oh well, I took some drugs so I'm feeling well enough to play some Survivor. Answering Anansi's questions: 1. I think the extra time afforded by the challenge extension was especially helpful in just *solidifying* where my relationships stand. Now, since the Tribal Council didn't end up coming our way, it didn't end up being a big deal either way. But, I spent a large part of that last day setting up group chats (I now have one with Hades-Cerberus and one with Hades-Cerberus-Persephone) and making some concerted reach outs towards Kronos and the hydra. I think without that extra day, and if the Tribal Council had some our way, I would have felt rushed solidifying those alliances and friendships while the vote was in play. With the extra time, I'm feeling pretty secure? But I'm trying not to get too comfortable for a few reasons. 1. I don't want my friends and allies to perceive me as too comfortable or complacent. I need to still be reaching out and building relationships with the hydra/Kronos/Artemis, as well as being an active contributor of the alliance I'm currently a part of. In addition, the first divine intervention selection could absolutely throw everything that is giving me an advantage in the game right now out the window. It'll definitely shake things up, and while I veto'd what were in my opinion some of the worst options to deal with, I have no doubt things are going to continue being this comfortable. 2. I enjoyed the challenge a lot! It's the type of strategy board game that I find really intriguing and addicting. It is definitely a game I would want to play again, and I'm almost disappointed that we only get to play it one time. I didn't end up playing as "competitively" as I could have, because my group strategized specifically for earning the tokens of devotion. That plan paid off (I'm surprised how far ahead our group was of *everyone* else), and I got myself a token! I was a little worried because I didn't "win" my game, but considering we didn't go to TC, I think for the most part my tribe is impressed that my/my group successfully carried out a strategy for earning a token of devotion. Also, my tribe only won one game anyway, and I lost mine by 6 points. Overall, enjoyable challenge, and I enjoyed that there was an alternate "win condition" in the tokens of devotion. I've sent the token to Hades next. The goal is to keep the token within our alliance for as long as possible. 3. It feels like a trap to try and plan too far ahead. I have no idea how long me being in this tribe is going to last. I'm trying to expect the unexpected by not relying on consistency or what I know about the game so far too much. Granted, that can only get me so far. It's possible I get thrown into a situation I just have no idea how to deal with, and that's scary. Really, though, I feel fairly good about where I'm at right now? One of my main concerns at the moment is continuing to be an active player while not being seen as too much of a "threat." I don't want to become the leader of my tribe necessarily. However, I think I have a pretty good failsafe in that regard by having Hades as my #1 ally. I think as long as we continue as partners, it'll be harder for one of us to be targeted. I also don't want to let what I feel to be a good position prevent me from continuing to reach out to people I don't know as well. I shouldn't just give up with Kronos, for example. So, it'll be a careful balance I think. I feel good about the strong alliance I have going in my tribe currently. The thing I have no idea about is what to do when those friendships/alliances break down... I'm hoping I just don't have to think about that... For a while. 4. The last day of conversation with my allies has shifted away from talks about people in the game and more about items/idols. For instance, Hades brought up the Ring of Mudarra, and we speculated about who might have it. Earlier in this thread I made a list of people who *probably* don't have it. It seems that the idol's existence is pretty wide spread knowledge, which might put a target on the back of whoever has it, if that information becomes public. It's also been nice to have allies to talk extensively about the divine interventions and how to use the tokens of devotion. I feel being able to look at the list and decide what would negatively impact us most *as a team* has been invaluable. There hasn't been any speculation about the Idol Challenge really.

Blahhhhh stupid fever took me out of the game longer than I would've liked, but it's fine
I'm getting a good idea now about who is cool in the other tribes. In the interests of not overexerting myself, I'm not necessarily gonna focus too much on getting a lengthy conversation going with EVERYONE
I just want to get to know the popular/interesting/cool people.
For the Hito tribe.
Paps Eloritu Bilious
feels like a strong core of people I would want to get to know
Kitsune Fili and Kili
are less talkative and probably harder to connect to, but still worthwhile to keep communications open
Chaos
mostly one liners, probably less important based on their tribe's opinion on them
