THOUGHTS AFTER THE WALLS CRACKED

No, I am not categorizing them by tribemates or non-tribemates this time because they're all basically the same at this point. Some of these are people-specific; others are just rambles (is that a word? I don't know, I'm using it).
So let's start this off with the horrific realization I had ten minutes into the excitement of messaging new people:

My very first message was from Jael, and the subject line was "Dear Mx Poppy." I squealed inside and flailed my arms a little bit. This is gonna be a GREAT week. (Wow, reflecting on that a day later is HYSTERICAL).
Hehe they really liked all my comments in GD, and they were super excited to talk to me specifically. SCORE!
Kitsune, where was that humor you displayed in Loki's treachery BEFORE? I LOVE it!
Hahahahahahahaha Jesus gave me a token of devotion. I'm sorry, I just... I grew up Christian...... this type of shit is SO FUNNY.
Okay... hooooo.... I am PSYCHED. I am clearly making a lot of friends.
As sad as I am about not being able to talk to Eloritu *whimpers* I am excited to get to know everyone else. I'm glad this DI was first.

According to Jael, she is rather fond of nicknames and just a delightful, lovely soul. And DAMN was that accurate. She's adorable!!!! She calls Loki "Kiki". I melted! And! And! She said that ever since she found out I go by Poppy, she pictures me sitting in a beautiful meadow, and then she said that she wants to run through flowers with me. 😍 CAN SHE LIVE FOREVER?

She greeted me like this: "It is an honor to be graced by the Earth Mother."

And then they gave me all kinds of buttery compliments, like how they think I'm warm and exceedingly charming. I was the first person they wanted to reach out to. <3
* Jesus *
I like their role-playing a lot. Jesus is just a dude. BEST.
I told him that I was worried about Chaos if my tribe goes to tribal this round and to say hi. I can't do much to save them if they can't charm people from afar, but I can sure as hell try. (Heh. Well. I gave up on that pretty fast.)
Also, I like using Hebrew sayings w/ Jesus like "shalom" and "laylah tov." I hope they like it. It makes my nerdy soul happy.

Bright, spunky energy immediately. I see why Jael likes them. And they like podcast. We can bond over that for a while (we have). And they have a little one!!! I love kiddos! It's also refreshing to hear Survivor players talk about being parents.
* Phobos and Deimos *
Deimos tried to give me a strategy that would make my empathetic heart feel better (in regards to Chaos), and I appreciate that. I think they've got a knack for this game and how to be an influencer among your tribe, from the very little we've spooken (okay, that's obviously supposed to be spoken, but spooken is just so cute, so I'm leaving it).
* Maat and Hathy *
They are both super generous and willing to assist with whatever I want to do and say to my tribemates. I'm asking for help in how to talk with Chaos. Like, do I straight up say I'm voting for you, or do I continue to say idk, or do I pretend I'm voting for someone else to keep my peace with Chaos?
* Loki *
We're nerding out about Marvel. Awesome.
He's interested in my writing, too!
They seem very respectful. Oh. Wow, yeah, that's totally the Marvel version of Loki in the later movies. Occasionally villainous and tricky, but extremely polite. If that's on purpose, it's EXCELLENT.
He says I'm good at keeping up on actual conversation and will gladly help me with whatever I need.
