Myths are constantly being told and retold. One of the more common ways they were collected back in the American Frontier were through tall tale contests, where contestants would compete to see who could spin the wildest yarn of them all. Today, we have a contest of a similar nature. Today you will be asked to retell a myth, any myth from any mythology, in any way you wish. Could be a comic, could be a song, could even just be an essay or a story. In fact you could even make a totally new myth if you wish. If you want an example, here's one we made a while ago: www.youtube.com/watch?v=eamEDs5a9o0&feature=youtu.be ...we hope you can do better. We are looking for y'all to show how much creativity and more importantly effort you can put in. You will have 40 hours to make your retelling and submit it in your confessional. After you submit there will be an 8 hour period where 3 judges will be presented with your myths and rate your efforts anywhere from 0 to 10, with 0 being indicative of a lack of any attempt to try and make something interesting, and 10 showing clear passion and creative direction for the project. This round the players with the TOP 2 scores based upon average rating and ties broken by standard deviation (i.e 3 8s is better than an 8, a 9 and a 7) will win immunity. Good luck to y'all! Time Expectations: Your time, like your submission, is limited only by your imagination. And the 40 hour deadline. Communication: You may discuss this challenge as you see fit, but must create all of your own submission--no direct collaboration is allowed.

Love the idea of this challenge, it's a different type of challenge to what we normally see
1) Who are the 3 judges going to be? If I may, I'd suggest that we open this up to all specs to judge but during this round we hide confessionals from them so that they don't know who is who, having all specs judge means we get a wider range of opinions on things
2) in terms of any form of media they want, we need to make sure we tell them that they can't do anything that'd cause them to being ID'd, so like a video showing someones face couldn't be done, also how we collect the myths would be important, if for example someone makes a video and uploads it to youtube, their username will show up. I would suggest that we have an email that people can submit video files to and we upload said files to youtube, obviously done as an unlisted video. Unless there's somewhere people can upload videos anonymously.
3) Lol ties broken by standard deviation xD loving the use of maths here, I'd suggest explaining what that means for anyone who doesn't understand

1. Could be specs or could be just some people we know. Honestly the more removed from the MS community the better.
2. I'd rather people be able to give stuff that can ID themselves. People aren't so corrupt as to vote for people on ID things and honestly, when this was run in Disney the only two entries both could ID Monty and Me. I showed my face and Monty had his voice. It restricts the players so much to think "but can this ID me" and I think we'd miss out on some very creative ideas. But if that's still a concern, I'd rather we just pick the judges from people as disconnected from the MS community as possible, Monty probably knows a few.
3. Changed

i like this. +1 to getting non-MS people to judge so that IDs don't matter.
