The Third Divine Intervention is.... Islamic texts say, among other things, "None of you (truly) believes until he wishes for his brother (or sister) what he wishes for himself." Today, we will put that principle to the test. By the end of this round, each player must choose one other player in the game. If two people pick each other, without anyone else picking them, both parties receive a "Steal-a-Vote" which allows a player to force one person's vote at a Tribal Council to not count, while they themselves cast two votes. However, if either player involved is picked by someone else, they will not receive a Steal-A-Vote. For example, if Tom picks Carrie, Carrie picks Tom, and Reynold picks Tom, Carrie would receive a Steal-A-Vote, no one else involved would.

Clarifications: This twist will likely bring about some questions about the way in which various items interact in this game. Because this is a public twist, we'll answer some of those questions here, publicly and preemptively.
1. There's a possibility for extra votes to exist in this game. If an extra vote is used, say by Tom, and Carrie and Reynold both use a Steal-a-Vote on Tom, both Tom's original vote and his extra vote would be stolen.
2. If, however, two Steal-a-Votes are used on someone who has NOT used an extra vote in that round, only the first to be played (as measured by timestamps) will go through. The other will be revealed as having been attempted, but will be "refunded" to the failed attempter, for use at a later Tribal Council.
3. Speaking of reveals, we will reveal at Tribal Councils if a Steal-A-Vote was used (or attempted to be used) and who it was attempted on, but NOT who used it. (To those of you from tribes other than Hitorigami, "Tribal Council" is where you go to vote people out of the game)
4. All Steal-A-Votes gained with this twist expire immediately following the Final 7 Tribal Council.
5. Because this game is absurd, if someone successfully steals a vote, I need to detail what happens if someone steals a stolen vote. When a steal-a-vote is used, the targeted player's extra or stolen vote is always targeted first. So if Tom steals Reynold's vote, and Carrie steals Tom's vote, Tom's stolen vote from Reynold would be stolen, and his original vote would be casted purely by him. However, because stolen votes can be stolen, if BOTH Carrie and Jim stole Tom's vote in this example, Tom would cast no votes (despite successfully stealing a vote), and Carrie and Jim would each cast two.
6. If you have any other questions, please let us know, just know that we will not always answer hypotheticals related to items not in your possession.
7. If Tom and Carrie each steal a vote from each other, the net effect is nothing happening.

Clarification: Remember you can pick ANYONE in the game, not just people on your tribe.

This Divine Intervention has been adjudicated! Anyone who received an item from it should already have it in their inventory.
