Let's actually post something in this Confessional, shall we?
I originally wanted to submit a short story about life being a simulation but that's not exactly a myth; it's a conspiracy. I thought that might be pushing the envelope too far, so at 10 PM last night, I scrapped my 3+ hours worth of work and went back to the drawing board. Other ideas I had included Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, the Creation Story (from God's wife's perspective, or a random alien watching the whole thing), Hades and Persephone's love story, a happy ending for Tristan and Isolde, and some kind of adventure with Merlin and Arthur. But... out of desperation and maybe even a glimmer of inspiration, I decided to go with a completely new idea.
I wrote a screenplay called "Mary's Answer". It's a retelling of the story where the angel Gabriel appears to Mary and tells her she's destined to bear the Son of God... and she says no. I'm happy with it. It's written with modern language except for the "shalom" greeting between Mary and her friend Rivqah (super proud of myself for finding that gorgeous Hebrew name) and a couple of phrases from Gabriel, which were taken/paraphrased from the Bible. I hope the judges get my sense of humor and that they enjoy the vibrant, adventurous, feminist personality that I gave Mary. She takes no BS, and I love it.

I GOT THIRD!!!!  I’m so delighted! I don’t even care that I didn’t get immunity because I’m safe; I don’t need it. Plus, it sounds like Hades and Athena really knocked it out of the park, so they deserved to win. Ahhh I’m just so happy that my work got some recognition and praise!! |

Hello, mods and specs. I'm about to head off for a bit, but I wanted to share some of my thoughts.
So Jael is going home. That's the writing on the wall, and I don't think that's going to change in 31/2 hours. I'm a little sad about it because I figured out who Jael is on day 1 (they have such a powerful voice, and I've known them my whole life; how could I not know which one is them?) but I also feel like they will be okay with me beating them. In fact, they said something to me during the first twist when we got to chat for the first time. They said one of their biggest goals is to teach someone to become even better at Survivor than them. I'm pretty sure they wanted me to soak that in and try to beat them. And at this point, I'm absolutely going to. Yes, there are some votes in my name because Jael and maybe a couple others chose me for the Moirai, and maybe one or more people will choose me again for this round. But that's okay. That's a compliment; they only did that because they know I'm on solid ground here; I have so many people who love me and want me around that it will be close to impossible to get me out. I'm a little softer about that than Jael. Jael is very clearly a social threat and is not afraid to show those sharp teeth. I am also a social threat but I go about it with hugs and... tasty treats, apparently. 😆
So I'll be sad to see Jael go. But I'm excited to make them proud by going even farther than they did this game.
I feel 92% positive that I'm going to win. But I need to step it up in order to show the jury that I'm the best choice for champion.
Bring it on.

Oh damn. Jael saved themself. I was scared for a second that that would mean I'd be voted out because Athena said Jael was voting for me. Thank God that's not the case. But poor Ceebee. I did not expect that.
