hey children of god,
so ive been meaning to do this for a minute, but i figured it would be cool if we had a bible study. like theres never any harm in brushing up on what some men said a few millennia ago. so uhh please take a seat and if u dont have a bible u r free to borrow one of mine. i will warn u they r in hebrew, but im sure i can get the holy spirit in here to give us all some more understanding if u cant read it. i also just wanna thank u for being here with me, ik u could choose to be out partying or literally anywhere else this friday/saturday, so it means a lot that u chose to be here
oh also, i got snacks! theres some quail and cheesy garlic breads and lots of sweets and candies so please help urself. I also made some punch since apparently wine isnt a kosher thing to have at bible studies anymore--2021 is weird--anyways, please help urself and feel right at home
we r currently in proverbs chapter 18 so feel free to turn there with me if u want. i'll read the first few verses to get us started,
"An unfriendly person pursues selfish ends and against all sound judgment starts quarrels. Fools find no pleasure in understanding
but delight in airing their own opinions. When wickedness comes, so does contempt, and with shame comes reproach."
ok so to start us off, ill just pose a simple question: what do these words mean to u?
also u r all welcome to jump in and read the next few verses urself at any time, i dont wanna do all the talking here
