Well the walk towards the end of the game has been somewhat predictable so far. Let's hope it takes a nice diversion.

I mean... none of M/H, Jesus, and Hades have any reason to turn each other, and all of the advantages are gone. If Athena doesn't win this, she's out. If she does, Poppy is out. I think.

I'm going through my old Confessionals for funsies, and I had to point out this comment I made: I'm a little tentative about such a big alliance because I know they can't last forever.HAHAHA JOKES ON YOU, POPPY, THE LIFE & DEATH ALLIANCE IS LASTING FOREVER! And you know what this means? I've been in that alliance for a month. A whole frickin' month. That makes me really happy. I feel bad for Poppy, to be honest. She must be trifling if she thinks that any of the other four are willing to go up against her in the end.

Side note, don't like jury posts, could influence their thinking.

Also yeah, I mean, it's a lesson Poppy and Athena are going to have to learn the hard way unfortunately, and tbf one might immunity run to the end, but yeah they certainly have a level of naivetee that will get washed off with this game I hope.

I would be quite dissapointed if multiple people chose to not submit for this challenge (or well literally any challenge). Like in general I get the criticism of subjective challenges. But like...they just....aren't rng, at all. Being artistic is a skill. Being funny is a skill. Being a good salesperson is a skill. And I don't see the variance of whatever judges you get to be much more different any of the other things that might affect your challenge performance/result for a non creative challenge.
Also got the question of what the descriptions are for and since I can't exactly explain it without giving ideas I'll answer it here. If someone is judging what is the most something, some context is going to help, especially with things like biggest accomplishment. Like a certificate is nice but explaining how you got it is better. And for other items, I'd say a cool item you bought online vs a cool item that you made with your own hands will be graded differently. It also allows people who don't have something they think fits the category on hand to well, lie and use their creative writing skills to turn something that one its own would score low into a potential winner.

The "I feel compelled to spend money on this" is a take I'm sympathetic to.
Tbh I don't really expect buying something to ever be necesarry to be competitive considering the time limit on the challenge (not to mention completely unnescary, if you see something in a store you like for the challenge you can just grab it take a picture, and put it back and prime shipping is only next day for a few items and you get a month to return stuff). I also don't think anyone would be willing to spend more than pocket cash on a challenge for a game where the only prize is bragging rights, especially where it can only potentially help in...3 categories? All I think the rule does is allow further creativity without really creating an unfair advantage for anyone, since I'm pretty sure already owning, making something with stuff you have lying around or borrowing something is going to get you a lot more mileage and this would be a last resort.
Still perhaps rules about a spending cap should be implemented if this ever gets run again to disallow someone going overkill. While I doubt breaking the bank would ever be done or even be a smart idea for this, eliminating the thought entirely doesn't seem very bad.

I just want to say this challenge about tasks missed an opportunity to be themed after the Labors of Hercules.

I'm looking at this challenge for fun. Well I'm looking at my most neglected item anyway. I think this table that has been sitting in this position for at least one decade is probably it, or at least one of the many things we should probably just get rid of imgur.com/a/OZhamobThe kettle on top was half full of water.

I'm going to bet at least one person complains about not reading when the deadline for this challenge is

No one actually did. Jesus notified us they might not submit for the challenge cause they were aware of the deadline and unfortunately it happened. Also Hades perspective on this challenge is....interesting but no one else seems to have such misgivings. And well, don't think anyone actually bought something specifically for the challenge it was mostly creating badckstories for things you already owned.
